MEND – Mind, Exercise, Nutrition, Do it!

MEND is an effective 10 week programme that uses techniques developed by health experts to help 7-13 year old children who are above their ideal weight, and their parents, learn about food and discover fun ways to get fit. Programmes for Gosport children take place at Brune Park Community College Sports Complex and Bridgemary Community Sports College.

CedarOak

CedarOak is located on Bemisters Lane, just off the High Street and offers a range of free and confidential services around pregnancy, including pregnancy testing, counselling for unwanted pregnancy, pre and post abortion support and on-going help for those considering adoption. They have a 24 hour answerphone: 02392 523735. Opening times are Mondays 10-2pm and Thursdays 12-4pm and other times can be arranged.

 


 

Alcoholics Anonymous

Choices is a new thru-care support group for people dealing with drugs and alcohol issues. It takes place Solent Evangelical Church on Forton Road each Tuesday 10-3 with lunch provided at 1pm.
