FREE Nature Navigation at Manor Farm Country Park, 21st March, 10-4pm
Using GPS satellite navigation, the whole family can explore the great outdoors like never before, with our choice of nature trails.
It's completely FREE to take part and there's a free goodie bag when you complete the course.
Follow the unique trail through the woodland and discover the hidden clues. Inspired by the satellite orienteering craze that has swept the globe, Nature Navigation is an exhilarating adventure for all the family.
After a short briefing you will be given co-ordinates to find a number of points around the country park. At each point you will find the answer to a question on your activity sheet. Just complete the activity sheet to receive your free goodie bag!
Two trails are available, a 1 mile route and a longer 2.5 mile route. Handheld GPS devices will be provided or download your own GPS app to your mobile phone.
Visit our activities tent for cycling advice, tabletop safari and wood turning demonstrations, and see staff from the QEII Activities Centre build life sized go-carts. Plus enjoy a 20 minute guided walk admiring the local features along the Cobbett Trail, led by an experienced local guide.
