WHO CAN HELP?
There are 3 Parent Support Advisers working in Gosport, who are there to listen to parents and help families with any issues as they emerge. These could include starting school information, improving behaviour or getting access to additional help and the PSAs can visit you at home, at school or wherever you are most comfortable. The Hampshire Family Information Directory is a new online directory offering parents and practitioners the ability to search for information about childcare and family services in their local community, in other neighbouring authority areas and nationally.
The Hampshire Family Information Directory replaces HantsFish.

Youth Inclusion and Support Panel (YISP)
YISP works with young people aged 8-13 years who are at risk of offending. They support parents also when working with the young people. Young people can be referred to us by agencies or parents. The Behaviour Support Team
The Behaviour Support Team offers individual and group support to parents where there are concerns about a child’s school behaviour. Referrals are made through schools so speak to your child’s primary school about accessing this support.
Fareham and Gosport Portage Service

South Hampshire Deaf Children’s Society
Annual membership is just £5 per family and is open to all families with deaf or hard of hearing children or supporters living in the South Hampshire area. Wessex Youth Offending Team
YOT works with young offenders aged between 10 and 17 and their parents. The site will provide you with contact details of workers within your own area, who will be able to provide you with relevant support and/or advice that is suited to your needs.
